Kang Festival (Rath Yatra)
Kang Festival, also known as Rath Yatra, is a significant religious celebration in Imphal, Manipur, dedicated to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. The festival is marked by grand chariot processions where devotees pull the sacred chariot through the streets with great devotion, accompanied by bhajans and kirtans. Celebrated annually in June or July, the event lasts for several days and concludes with the return journey known as Kanglen. It is a vibrant festival that reflects spiritual devotion, cultural traditions, and community unity in Manipur.
